Violent isn't really the same since movies like the Changeling are scary without anyone ever getting hurt.

BTW, scariest thing I ever saw was the Exorcist. I was 8 and I'm pretty certain that will scare any 8 year old. Nothing has scared me since.

I hate scary movies...i especially hate any movie that has zombies in it. Even references to zombies = not cool with me. Even funny movies that feature zombies (ie: Shaun of the Dead) is not cool with me.

My zombie fear was never that bad until my cousins made me sit through the first Resident Evil against my will. I've been scarred ever since.

And I'm also going to add another vote for the Exorcist. I watched it 2 summers ago (cause i was too dumb to leave the room when my brother put it on) and I couldn't sleep for over a month. Eeks...why did i even click on this thread?

Ringu, while a great movie, and 1000 times better than The Ring, was not really that scary either.

Exorcist was the scariest ever, or maybe Spice World.

Don't get me wrong, I love scary/horror movie. But the scariest experience watching them would be when I watchedthe original exorcist, I have never seen it when it was released in 19xx. All i know was the movie was released again in 2002 or so and remastered. I watched it by myself in the movie theatre during weekdays. The whole theatre was empty, only around 10 ppl or so, and no one sit on my row. Talk about scary.
