Yes I will respond to spammer, good idea.

You... don't?

I like to play with them. They always want personal information, which is readily available:

Name:
Mulder, Fox William
Date of Birth:
13th of October 1961
Birthplace:
Chilmark, Massachusetts
Address:
2630 Hegal Place,
Apartment No. 42,
Alexandria,
Virginia 23242
SSN:
123-32-1321

Then, after stringing them along for the ID, you give them the finale:

I've never heard from a one of 'em after that.

They might be doing it verify if you have a valid email address that has a human who reads all mail. So as soon as you reply, you will get more spam for genitalia enhancements.

This was what I was thinking, more than trying to steal my money. Maybe I'll do the Mulder from a junk email... I am bored

That's what junk email accounts are for... and if you are really bored you can create one especially...

Don't forget to hide behind 7 proxies though.

They will ask for details needed to wire bank to bank funds for the "investment"
Unless you want to play along and create a special account; that should be the end of it.

Guessing that you will not actually give out your personal banking info.
