What's the right way of turning a company down?

A company (Company A) was given my name by some other company (Company B) I applied to. Company A is now asking me for a resume. Normally, I would be excited to do this especially if name was passed around with a good word. However, Company A is in the boonies, way outside the metro area I live in.

What's the correct way of turning Company A down without sounding like an arse?

"While I sincerely appreciate your interest, I'm afraid your company is located a bit too far away for me right now, as I'd prefer to stay in the _____ area.

Thanks again, _____"

I would not It is always a good idea to at least provide an interview

For instance would you move to the boonies if you could double your salary?

I would send my resume regardless. Perhaps they will make me an offer I cannot refuse. Why not? I'd lose nothing by at least listening to what they have to say.
