what's the quietest and most effient PSU?

might do another build this year after a few years. This time it has to be wife friendly and energy efficient. last build i have she complained about the fan always making too much noise.

first thing is looking for a nice power supply that is as energy efficient as possible and quiet. going to start paying my own electric bill soon and want to keep it to a minimum. Now my HOA pays all the utilities

Seasonic X series is very efficient and the fan does not even run at low loads, but it only comes in 650 & 750 watts so it may not be the best choice depending on your specific system's power consumption.
