What's the proper install procedure for XP?

Is it OS->Service Packs->Drivers->Updates or something else?

Also, particularly with a VIA chipset, what order do I update everything?

I do OS, motherboard drivers, video drivers, sound drivers, then updates and service packs.

I do motherboard drivers, windowsupdate stuff and service packs, other drivers.
