What's the problem?

I posted here a few months ago about someone spilling rum and coke on my Inspiron 700m around the keyboard area (which was completely ruined). The problem was it powered on but nothing came up on the screen. So I figured the video was fried, since the screen was flipped up when the spill ocurred and there was barely anything around the screen area. So I got a new motherboard and keyboard, reassembled but still get the same issue (which is really frusterating due to the high cost of the motherboard!). I don't get any beeps or anything when i turn it on. The exhaust fan is going, and i'm pretty sure the hard drive is spinning. Anyone got any ideas on what the problem could or how I could go about finding out what it is?

Alright so I connected the notebook to an external monitor and still got no display. The monitor is getting some sort of signal because when I unplug the monitor from the notebook I get a "No signal" message that I dont get when it is plugged in. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

No one here can help due to the nature of the problem... You can either continue to swap components and hope for the best or take it in to be repaired.
