What's the pretty game i can try on my Radeon?

I was so surprised that games looked so much better and cleaner on Radeon. before i thought Quake3 looked better then UT, but behold, try UT at highest quality at 1024X768, not only do u get 60+ steady frame rate but its so beautiful that i got fragged just watching stuff. Anyways what are some games that look really good? i want to try those Airplane games and racing games. this card just amazes me so much.. thanx in advance

I think while it is optimized for GF cards, it will run on other cards, but can someone without a GF card try to run it for us?

Hm, I recall somebody saying it'd only work with GeForces? (Gives a GeForce not detected error). You can d/l 3dMark2000 and watch the demo (and benchmark too of course).

Yes the x-isle will only run on a G-force card.It works on my mx but not with my 5500 or my new radeon.

yeah, radeons ark is pretty good altho i find it a bit sluggish for my taste...

I didn't like the Ark demo very much, I mean I appreciated all the effects they had going at the same time, etc., but there wasn't anything really cool, if you know what I mean. that and it halted on me the first time. =)

Heh, that xlr8r demo is pretty to look at, but it doesn't help much. The first time I ran it on my system, the madonion site told me I should upgrade my video card. I got a Geforce 2 MX (Hercules), ran it again, and it couldn't identify it. So for all the categories it said "Insufficient Data". Ummmm, thanks, I guess. Anyone else have this happen, or is it just my weird card?

X-isle doesn't work with the Radeon.
Try Star Trek : Elite Forces ...that game is awesome with the Radeon (uses Q3A engine)

Opps i should have told u guys what i've alredy tried. Ive tried both Madonion 3dmark and that XL 8R8 thing. (how do i change resolution on XL 8R8 by the way?). im downloading star trek now.
UT doenst run well with OpenGL for some reason. it runs for a minute then gives me a texture error and boots me to desktop. thanx guys

XL-R8R is just a subversive nvidia ad. I am sure nvidia funded it. No matter what card you run, if it aint a Geforce GTS when you go to the Madonion website it tells you you need to upgrade, and of course the Geforce GTS is what it recommends.

Im downloading that star trek game to check it out also should take about 8 min LOL I cant even run the ark demo cause my system dosent have 128 megs only 96 megs. Im uprading everying thing in next month new and more Ram 1000 mhz duron with this killer Radeon and I should be set for Awhile.

I've tried Startrek thingy (5min download for me ) ) looks pretty sharp, but not too much fun. weapons are too similar to me. and unfortunatly old fart, those compressed texture maps didnt work with Demo of Quake3 . oh well.

u want something pretty? go to tranzmit.demonews.com and download the demo called Untamed by Fuel, also worth checking out are VIP2 and Kasparov. now those are kickass eye candy.

those demos worked for u?! what the.. how do i fix this? i think they are all openGL and maybe that's y i can't run em... but i hear about this loki patch, is that only for UT?
