I've been saying these for years and yet I hear other people pronouncing them differently...

Is Porsche pronounced:
"Porsh" or "Porsha"

Is Audi pronounced:
"Outy" or "Oughty"

I've always added the "A" sound to Porsche...

Well, if "Politically Correct" means "as close as possible to its original pronounciation in its origin lanuague":

Porsche: Po-r-she
Audi: A-oo-dee
Mercedes: Me-r-se-de-z
(Isn't German easy? lol)

For Hyundai, in Korean, it's Hyun-De.

Everyone says things differently. I say most brand names the way my father did when I was growing up. For what it's worth I was raised in Northern Illinois.

Jaguar = Jag-wire
Hyundai = Hi-un-die.
Audi = Ow-Dee.
Porsche = Por-sha

While we're on the subject. There's no such thing as a Corvette "zed oh six". This is an American car, it is "zee oh six".

daimler (DIME-ler) is not like Jeffery Dahlmer (DOLL-mer)
"Fur are ee" and not "fe-RAR-ee"... are you joking?

porsche (POR-sha)

jaguar (JAG-yoo-ar)

audi (OW-dee)

hyundai (HUN-day)

the word 'jaguar' isn't english in origin, so listening to clarkson pronounce it doesn't shed any light on the problem.

The car company Jaguar is British, so listening to Clarkson tells you how British people (the people of the company's origin) say it. Which should give a strong indication of how it was originally pronounced.
