Could you elaborate? I have the Green and haven't seen anything so far that is compelling enough for me to upgrade.
They used to offer return protection and BVG, but those have gone out the window. I think membership rewards is included as well as companion domestic airfare.
I get Membership Rewards with my green card. What is companion domestic airfare?
I only ask because I have compared the two a couple of times and haven't found much difference.

1 Domestic 2 for 1 Airfare Program:
To make reservations, simply call Airline Promotions South, Inc. ("API") toll-free at 1-866-901-1234 Monday through Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm E.T. You must be an active American Express Executive Business Card member when you call.
During each calendar year, the Cardmember is entitled to purchase a maximum of two domestic coach adult round-trip fares from API at the published fare, offered on any of the six major U.S. carriers, or the minimum fare stated in this offer (whichever is greater) and receive one complimentary domestic companion fare for each such domestic adult roundtrip fare at the published fare. There is no carryover allowed for any reason from one calendar year to the next if the eligible companion airfares are not used during a given calendar year.
To qualify for the complimentary fare, purchase one adult round-trip published fare before taxes, passenger facility charges (on any of the six major U.S. carriers) of not less than $299.00. Fares lower than $299.00 do not qualify for this offer. This offer is valid between most major airports within the continental 48 United States (excludes Alaska). Under the terms of this offer all tickets must be purchased through API.
To qualify for the complimentary fare to Honolulu, Hawaii, purchase one adult round- trip published fare before taxes, passenger facility charges (on any of the six major U.S. carriers) of not less than $899.00 Fares lower than $899.00 do not qualify for this offer. This offer is valid between major airports within the continental 48 United States and Honolulu, Hawaii. Itineraries originating from the following airports only, shall have a minimum fare requirement of $699.00: LAX, LAS, PHX, SEA, SFO. Under the terms of this offer all tickets must be purchased through API.
To be eligible for this travel award one of the travelers must be 21 years of age or older and one of the travelers must be the active American Express Executive Business Cardmember. Both travelers must have either a valid Drivers License or a government issued picture identification to be presented at check-in. It is the sole responsibility of the travelers to determine if ay additional documentation is required for travel.
Tickets are non-refundable, nontransferable and non-endorsable and must be purchased in the United States with an American Express Executive Business Card in the Cardmember's name. Name changes are not permitted. Travel Insurance is highly recommended.
Complimentary ticket must have the same exact itinerary with departure and return on the same flights as the paid ticket, and is subject to all government fees, taxes, charges, and ticketing fees imposed by the airline. U.S. domestic transportation tax, airport passenger facility charges, security & fuel surcharges are applicable and are the responsibility of the Executive Business Card member. One complimentary ticket per Executive Business Card member traveling.
Reservations require a minimum seven (7) day advance purchase and a Saturday or two night stay at your destination. API (Airline Promotions South, Inc.) the issuer of the free companion fare will determine the routing from the airport closest to your gateway city. API cannot honor requests for specific routings. API will use scheduled jet and commuter service. Maximum stay is thirty (30) days. Open tickets, open returns, open jaws and circle trips are not permitted. Stopovers are not allowed. Reservations generally accepted within six (6) months of travel.
Airline participation varies from market to market and is based on availability within API's underlying contract. Code share flights do not apply. Lower fares may be available in certain markets. Please consult with our agents to determine the most economical fare for your itinerary.
This travel award may not be combined with or applied to other certificates, promotions or special offers, including, but not limited to: upgrades, government fares, tour/travel packages, group, convention/company meetings fares, bereavement, companion fares, senior citizen discounts, corporate agreements, student fares, child fares, travel industry discounts, internet fares, frequent flyer programs or any unpublished programs. Travel awards are non-transferable and void if altered. Travel awards are non-refundable and will not be replaced if expired, lost, stolen or destroyed.
Frequent flyer mileage accrual may not be applicable.
Schedules, terms, points of service and fares are subject to change without notice.
