boohoo. I drive a '95GS. Yes, it's a granny car, but I love the ride. Only thing that aggravates me is that I like to go camping, but if I tried to drive that car on anything that wasn't paved, I'd probably tear the sh!t out it. I need a truck

I want to fantasize about buying a really exciting new car, in case I win the lottery. I promise I'll never drive it in Florida, in either real life or fantasy, so no Oldsmobiles or Caddies or anything. No midlife-crisis guy cars, please. And not a minivan, I'm sick of those.
If $$$ were no object, what would be the perfect old lady car?
I'm thinking about this 49 Chevy Pickup, but I'm open to suggestions.

Let me get this straight. You win the lottery and you decide to buy a '49 Chevy truck? You need to have your head examined. Just get the Oldsmobile already...
Yup, my first boyfriend's old truck :heart:Originally posted by: Mwilding

Isn't that the one that died on the highway onramp when you hit a bump while taking it for a test drive, or am I thinking of somebody else from this board?

The little old lady from Pasadena
(Go, Granny, go, Granny, go Granny go)
Has a pretty little flower bed of white gardenias
(Go, Granny, go, Granny, go Granny go)
But parked in a rickety old garage
Is a brand new, shiny red Super Stock Dodge
CHORUS:
And everybody's sayin' that there's nobody meaner
Than the little old lady from Pasadena
(She drives real fast and she drives real hard)
She's the terror of Colorado Boulevard
It's the little old lady from Pasadena
If you see her on the street don't try to choose her
(Go, Granny, go, Granny, go Granny go)
You might drive a goer but you'll never lose her
(Go, Granny, go, Granny, go Granny go)
Well, she's gonna get a ticket now sooner or later
'Cause she can't keep her foot off the accelerator
