1.50v, but I've yet to see a board that kept it steady at default settings. 1.42v is fine if the chip is stable, especially at stock speed. It's always a good idea to run a CPU with as little voltage as necessary to maintain a given clockspeed.

But wouldnt the P4 clock - throttle as a result? Im experiencing very bad seti wu crunch times, i mean less than that of my P3 1000 (which is now a server).
