What's the oldest piece on hardware in your computer?

Hmm.. Don't really have anything old in it right now.

Probably my 18gb WD Expert, from umm.. 2000?

I had a floppy from the late 80s but it finally quit working a year ago. Next in line would be my northgate omnikey, from the early 90s.

Until recently I was using a 486 for a router ... probably vintage 1992
But that's been replaced by a PPro 200 1996. There may be a drive in there from an earlier system.

everything brand new, just hooked everything up last nite 😀 oh... the speaker is kinda old tho : midiland s2 4100 from 1999 i think

A couple of months ago, an Adaptec 2940 scsi card -- now, I'm not sure, probably my Intellimouse Explorer (if periphs count), otherwise it's all from last Sept/November from when I upgraded. My previous comp (which I still have the desicated skeleton of) has some of the original parts from when I bought it in '99, namely the case, Maxtor 17.2gb hd, ram and power supply.

My 3com hardware NIC (almost 0% cpu usage even during large file transfers) and my floppy drive both date back to about '98 or '99.
