what's the noise level on this evga 7600gt?

The fan get's tad a bit loud when it's on load from some owners. hopefully i'll be receiving mines this tuesday....and i'lll let you know 😛
 
I have the exact same one; the fan noise level is acceptable if your system is about average in terms of loudness. With a loud fan or w/e, you won't hear this card. If you have a very quiet system though, you WILL hear this thing especially at full load.

How well you're 7600GT ko perform 😛 ? Just curious as a soon to be owner 😀
 
Plays Half Life 2 at max settings for everything (1280*1024) with no lag
Plays Need for Speed Most Wanted at 1280*1024 MAX everything with no lag

Have yet to get FRAPS installed so I can't give exact FPS numbers

Those are the only games I have installed as of now so I'd say it performs pretty well. I have not OC'd it yet since there are many complaints about overheating with the stock cooler. My 3DMark05 score is in the high 7000s range if I remember correctly.

Thanks for info man, I'm not planning to OC either w/ the card and hopefully it's good enough to play oblivion lol 😛
 
To find fps in HL2 enable the console and type net_graph 3 and it will show you your fps among other things. To turn it off type net_graph 0
