What's the nicest thing you have ever done for someone else? This can be favors, mentoring, donations or anything else you can think of. Details are good. For some reason the only one I can think of was getting a bagel from the top shelf in a grocery store for a little girl. I am sure I have done nicer things before that but it is just stuck in my head.

A ladies van broke down in the middle of the road. I pushed her a couple blocks to into a McDonalds parking lot.

A teenaged girl was stranded on a country road with her car broken down while it was dumping rain. Took her to nearest gas station.

The outcome for both of these are epic fail

I have done many things. I can't really count or list them all here. Helped build houses for people. Helped with repairs on houses and such for people. Couple winters ago after huge storm helped a bunch of people dig/push cars out so they could get to work the next day. Help people out with photoshop/photography stuff. Used to help tons of people on the old firingsquad (gamersx) forums.

I don't know if I could qualify the nicest thing really.

Troll Fight! Who will annoy us more? The douchebag who doesn't use an 'h' at the beginning of his words, or the douchebag who quotes his own posts? The outcome is clear, whoever wins, ATOT loses.

Nothing really, I'm kind of a selfish asshole.

I let people do nice stuff for me all the time though.

I bought a house for a good friend of the family.

Granted the house was only $14k and 780 sq/ft. The house was foreclosed and the bank was looking to get rid of it. Because it was so cheap the bank treated it as an auto loan. During signing I only had to sign maybe 3 or 4 documents. And no, I'm no where close to rich but he was in a really bad spot. He foreclosed on his prior house because he spent all of his money on medical expenses. He lost his wife to cancer and spent just about everything he had to help her out.

Two years later he still making good on his payments.

i try to do nice things for others all the time. sometimes they dont want help. one time i stopped when i saw a harley choke out on the freeway, he was white knuckled and refused help, even tho i offered tools or a ride for him and his bike. another guy had similar probs but had no prob pushing it the block to my apartment (long ago, before marriage). found out his main fuse blew out, it was almost midnite and he was about 40 miles from anything near his part of town. i happened to have a box of that particular fuse and gave him 3. one for now, 2 in case the problem that popped the first one came back before he was home. he was a big, burly typical biker, but you couldnt tell with the smile on his face. he asked me why i stopped and offered help, since most people ignore him or seem like they would call the cops before helping. i told him that if i help people, it gives me the feeling that others will help me when i need it.

I'll do a lot of things for a lot of people. I have no idea what the nicest thing I've ever done was.

Some poor lady's van breaks down so you shove her relentlessly for blocks? Doesn't seem very nice to me.

It's kinda like that South Park episode, Cripple Fight. You don't want to stare, but you can't look away...
