What's the nforce2 chipset rev. history? What's the latest?

I recently got an Epox 8RDA+ and the Southbridge chip says A3.
Is that the latest?
Has anyone noticed a difference between these revisions?
Someone posted to me that the C1 is the latest. Was he/she confusing the nforce2 chipset with the Pentium4 which has a C1 overclocking hero?

I read recently about an A4 being the most recent release.

yup, C1 is the latest nforce 2 revision that enables 200FSB at low voltages for the chipset

How long has the C1 be available? I just got a 8RDA+ last week that had the A3.

Does anyone know of an outlet that specifically offers the C1?

C1/A1 is the newest nForce2 chipset revision and the A4 is the newest southbridge. Both are available on the new Leadtek WinFast K7NCR18G-Pro II (now out in Germany).

So the Northbridge chip says 'C1' and the Southbridge chip says 'A4'. I suppose I should atleast wait until people consistently report receiving the latest revision.

Sadly, by the time the Leadtek comes here so will the 8RDA3+. I guess I'll just have to wait for the reviews on the upcoming batch of nforce2s.

All the SL-75FRN2-Ls from Newegg that I've seen are shipping with the A1/C1.

I hadn't checked the Northbridge, but the southbridge is an A3. It seems atleast from your experience that the A3 SB is matched to the C1 NB.
I'm building it now. If it's not DOA we may later upgrade the NB goo to Arctic Silver, with a fan, too. We'll see then what stepping the nb is.

Just finished installing my Rev. 2.0 A7N8X-DLX RMA from Newegg, and of course, took a peek at the NB. Its an A1 NB 0309 with an A4 MCP-T thats also 0309. Me happy! :D

Running 11.5 x 200 right now (it has 200MHz default now too) to burn it in a little bit...I'll push the FSB more tomorrow.

Do you think that the "nforce 2 400 ultra" is just the name that is going to be given to motherboards with A1 and that the name isn't being used yet because AMD hasn't officially announced 400 yet?
