I want to run my laptops audio out (single pin carrying two channels) to two separate cables to the audio in on my tv or computer.
I am guessing they computer uses a stereo min plug? And the tv has RCA plugs?
If you had a linky on say monoprice that would be great.
Any help would be appreciated!

I'm not following why you'd get them male to female. It seems you'd need this cable to connect to your TV or this cable to connect to your computer. Is there something I'm missing here?

I thought maybe he already had a 6 foot length of RCA cables and it just buying a short 3.5mm male to 2xRCA female adapter rather than buying the whole cable over again (or maybe he has the 3.5mm cable already).

That would make sense. He made no mention of it, so I didn't want to make any assumptions.

Yes, you're right. I already have like 10 pairs of rca cables, mm, so I just wanted a short splitter.
