What's the music from the VH1 commercial that's playing at every commercial break?

I've tried searching for the key words from what lyrics I could pick out
"Hey, what's that sound everybody look what's goin' down"
and
"You don't want to"
But all I can find is the Buffalo Springfield and Public Enemy remix of the song some of those lyrics also appear in.

Does anyone know what the song is and who made it?

The original song is Buffalo Springfield - For What It's Worth.

Yeah, that's the only one I found but not the one I'm looking for. This is some techno song that only seems to share that line and it's not the "He got game" hip-hop remix.

Ok the techno remix is definitely not the original. The Buffalo Springfield version is from the 60's.

"Emcee Lynx - Soundtrack For Insurrection II : Bringin' The Rev" has that line in it too but that doesn't sound like it at all

The quote as it is sung is from Skee-lo "I Wish" who add the 'ahh yes ain't that fresh' line to the Buffalo Springfiled song. Maybe a remix of I Wish?

I saw the commercial again and it does have Skee-Lo's "aint that fresh" line but none of the remixes seem to be it

Turns out, Skee-lo got both lines from THIS 1999 retro-'80s song.

It's 3:02AM and I feel I'm on the verge of cracking it...

Damn! It turns out that it's (mostly) a song I already had! My local college station offered one mix up for download and I already had it
