$490 for groceries for 1 week for 6 people in a cabin (went fishing, waterskiing and jetskiing). Hmmm.......I think we had tenderloin and porterhouses every night, and for lunch😉 BTW...that included the beer for the entire week also.
like $100. It was the rest of the money on my meal card (I bought to large a meal plan) and it doesn't transfer over to the next quarter. So I went down to the one store where you could use your meal card and bought all I could on the last day.
The most I have seen spend it like $600. My dad ran a daycare buisness for a while, and always had to buy food for that. We spend that much like every 2 weeks at Costco.
$49, and I don't think I'll ever stop thinking about it. How the HECK can you spend that much? I think you are weird. What do you buy? A whole COW? Sheesh.
i remember spending about $500 for New years supper (2000),besides the $320 for a new stove that died the week before, and the about $150 for booze, wine and beer... And i still had to go to the corner store for more milk and eggnog!!!🙂
Well I'm only 17 so I don't shop for my own groceries (my mommy does 😀). I do work at Wal-Mart though as a cashier. One time this couple comes through. They bought so much sh|t! Like two carts chock full of food. Their total bill was $500. This was ALL FOOD! And I believe it was just for the two of them as well. It took like 15 min to ring up.
