I saw a 4-banger ford ranger towing a John Deere backhoe on a dualie trailer, complete with pintle hook hitch. He had to be towing close to 5 tons. Of course, he had his hazard lights on.
Another time I saw a ford ranger towing a grand caravan on a dualie trailer going 65 on the expressway.
A u-haul moving truck filled to the brim with boxes, furniture, washing machine, big applicances. I could tell this because the back door was fully open. Some guy was sitting on the floor, legs hanging down on the rear bumper, and he was holding a bookcase to prevent it from toppling out the back. BTW, the truck was going 60 on the expressway.
Our neighbor when I was growing up used to shovel his 4 kids (all under 6) into the back of his truck, regardless of distance and temperature. It had a cap, of course.
