Whats the most times you've watched a movie (on the big screen)?

how can you watch a movie 4 times? for that to be interesting you must either not be paying much attention, or lack some brain function.

Matrix Revolutions 2 times (second was in Imax with friends)

LOTR Two Towers 2 times

Spiderman 2 two times

Thats about all I can think of that I've paid to see more than once on the big screen.

only one was Stargate, I saw it with some friends one weekend, then my Parents wanted to watch it the next weekend (and I didn't have anything else to do before I got my drivers liscense)

I've seen a couple movies in the 5-6 range. Matrix wazs one of them I think... but nothing recently since it's almost $10 to see a freaking movie these days. And to think I just hread reports that local movie places are slimming down their plans to build huge mega-plexes because of dwindling movie goers.... Wonder why that could be... $10 for the movie, $6 for a popcorn, $5 for a soda....

1st time with my GB
and second time by myself.

My house had gotten on fire and I was staying at my cousin's. His girlfriend came over and he wanted some privacy.

That was a bad day!

I saw E.T. 13 times in the Theatre. It was 1982, I was 11 and movies stayed in theatres for a lot longer than they do now. I also lived two blocks from the theatre which I had a 'summer pass' to so I didn't really pay full price.

The good ole days. I saw Star Wars IV several times in the theater.

I saw Disney's The Black Hole & Sleeping Beauty 3 times each in one day. I was 9-10 and back then they didn't kick you out after seeing the movie once. I would just hang out in the lobby & go back in when it started. And my ticket was $1.75 :/

The only recent movie I've seen more than once at a theater was ROTK. I just had to see the "Ride of the Rohirrim" more than once on a big screen. Well, until I can get a bigassed TV at home.

If you're counting Drive-In's, I've seen multiple showings of movies with my kids. $5.75 to get a truckload of kids in to a new release movie, bring the food & drinks from home. And you're set. If the movie sucks, you get 2 hours of quality snooze time

can't even remember the exact number of times I saw Die Hard...

Knew some friends that worked at a cinema draft house (where you can order food and beer, oppps, I mean drinks while watching a movie...normally a movie showed twice a day for about a week or two...They played Die Hard for over a month...considering that I got a great deal on food/beverages, we ended up watching the movie 5 or 6 times a week for 4 weeks...

I saw Pulp Fiction 5 times in theatre and maybe a handful of movies a second time. Where do you guys live that movies are that expensive. I don't live in the boonies and it is $3.00 for an adult matinee before 6pm and $5.00 after 6pm. This is a theater with 20 screens, stadium seating, blah blah.
