I am planning on going to Death Valley when I buy a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

What about you?

BTW, has anyone been to the mountains and Death Valley area? If so, how was it?

Tell me when you're planning this trip, so I can be sure to keep a nice distance from you.

Some offroading will be good for you, it teaches you true finesse when driving, not to mention you become very aware of how your vehicle moves and where all parts of it are at all times. I don't know a single person who offroading hasn't made a better driver.

The badlands off-road park in attica indiana is where I get to have the most fun. I tend to not like to play in mud, but this weekend we were crossing a small mudpit to get to some cool rock formations.....it was a lot deeper than we expected and the jeep went down in about 2.5' of mud. When the brakes were released the wheels spun. There was no traction at all. The winch had to be brought out to pull us out of that one! We made it to the rocks after that small delay ;)
