night elves are the strongest in the early game, i end most games pretty early with them

Night elves. Kills air and land easily.

Humans are second. Footmen w/ defend are good. Knights are powerful. Archmage Hero is really good. Paladin Hero is pretty good also.

Undead kinda sucks. More defensive then offensive to me. Gargoyles get raped by archers, and those spider dudes are weak.

Orcs are the worst. Either all troll berserkers (axe throwers) or try to get some Tauran Cheiftans (which take a while to get to).
