Had another memory float to the top this morning I loathed and liked at the same time:

Grandfather ordering me to kill all the turtles in the lake because they were eating up all the fish the county paid for.

Killing animals as a 12 year old was fun.

Changing my diet. I lost 30+ lbs and I'm at a healthy weight now. 5'8, 170 lbs.

Lifting and running more often has made me healthy and hiking the trails in Washington have been worth the journey I've been on since my weight loss.
