What's the most interesting way one of your computers died?

:disgust:

I loved that laptop- ran win 98 bearably/let me use word/IE with winamp in the background, what more could i have wanted 🙁

Still had compuserve installed from ...1996 i think 2-my old man used to dialup from the Solomon Islands while he worked there 🙁

Any way- short story, laptop was on my mates desk in his college room across the corridor from me, of course none of us locked our doors (did afterwards-for about a week 🙂 ), bout three in the morning this really stoned/drunk yank kid stumbles in, pees all over his desk, notes, and my precious old laptop, then trys to get into my buddy's bed 😛

Well, I had an owner in one of our branch companies THROW his PC across the room.

"GOD DAMN PC!!!!!!!!! ARGH!!!" > PC goes flying, smashes into a wall.......

That's how that PC died 🙂

thats sick... was it on when he did it? i always wondered if u get electrocuted if u pee on a household appliance/computer. i would have bashed his face in (literally) and fvcked his girlfriend.

kind of interesting and computer didnt die completely psu did though: my girl spilled tea on her computer. i was trying to clean/dry it and with the cd drive open i accidently pushed down on it when i was getting up bending it 90º. when i was inside the case to take out the broken drive, while taking of the molex power connector my hand snapped back and broke a ram stick out of its dimm (one of the hinges... the other one was broken just last month).

not interesting but i airblasted one of my old puters and one of the fins broke off the cpu fan. didnt think twice but i brought it in booted it up and it started to rumble then boom cracked core.

was the guy hot?

I would have put his face in it like you do with a puppy.

If i'd been there at the time i would have, got a toshiba satellite AMD k6-2 333mhz/96mb RAM out of him so i guess i scored an upgrade (relatively speaking any way- it runs WinXP no worries), but thats not the point...the Tecra sucked in a cool/old way, the new one just plain sucks (and runs at about a million degree's 'C)

:brokenheart:

I used to work at a college radio station. One night after one of our unsuccessul events (aka not many people showed up) the station manager went on a drunken rampage (as he did almost every time we did an event. ) He smashed the monitor on the ground , then the case and smashed it with a baseball bat. It was awesome.

Then we hid the computer in the closet so the college wouldn't find out about it for the rest of the semester.

It was a Pedro Guerrero baseball bat. He use to threaten to "introduce" people to Pedro. He'd also bang it on tables a lot.
