anyway, when I was about 13 years old, my brother (10 yrs older than me) was driving me someplace.. his new car had lights on the side which turned on when he turned on his blinker. i had never seen that before, so I asked him what they were for.

He said 'What do you think?'

Now, he certainly didn't intend to have a profound impact on my life, but as it turns out, that was probably the most important thing anyone ever told me.
