You could also try the Antec Sonata

If money were no option, it would have been my choice over the SLK3700AMB that I got.

I ordered my SLK3700AMB from accupc.com - with free shipping it worked out to about $20 cheaper then Newegg, and got here just as fast (they have it dropshipped from their supplier) - 3 days after my order.

Both cases are very nice quality! My case feels like a tank compared to the old cases I'm used to! ;)

Anyway, the word "elegant" will mean different things for different people, so it will all depend on the style that you prefer. :D

That Antec is a nice looking case.
Man I can't believe the shipping they have on those cases at ACCUPC.COM, free shipping on cases and yet they charge $5.00 for a bloody fan ! talk about screwed up shipping rates !

I saw a Sonata at frys the other day, and I would have to say the pics are pretty misleading. It's a fine case, but where in all the pics it looks so classy, in reality it looks much cheaper. This was one out of the box too, not a trashed-up display one (which btw the display one had the bay door ripped off).

I like this one, first free $189 bucks I find on the side of the road goes to this :D

I just built a computer in this case for an older retired friend of mine and I was really impressed with how it looks. The paint job on the main body is really quality and the case is superbly built (like a tank). http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduct.asp?description=11-129-122&depa=1

Its called Metallic Bronze, but it is mostly a grey color.

P.S. For $86 shipped ($18) with a 350 watt Antec supply and an included 120mm back fan, it is a good deal I thought.

To entity,
newegg has Ahanix D.Vine.

. I would recommend Ahanix Romeo, Audi or Platinum; AOpen with the red frame around the front (punch this no. N82E16811130115 , into newegg search field) or the Compucase CI-6A21 (punch this no.: N82E16811122007 ) - identical to the SLK-3700ABR (which you can get Staples.com for $78.50 shipped, usually +slstax in your state) w/o the door. IMO, most of the cases noted above are too industrial even with the wavy gravy door...
. If you also want an easy building case, the Compucase or Antec are the way to go...

Where's the :sun: ??

Are those wood cases real wood or just a thin piece of laminate/veneer finish glued on?

ExoticPC.com also carries the D.Vine 5 series. I love my Cooler Master ATC-201c-SX though. Probably one of the last cases I'll own, unless CM comes out with a version with 120 or 92mm fans. :) The Sonata is a great choice if she doesn't mind opening a door every time she wants to load a cd.
