Question What's the most efficient video encoding processor right now?

Usually I find myself looking at cpu marks per dollar, or sometimes cpu marks per Watt, when evaluating a processor. Right now I'm using an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 that I got about a year ago for around $150. I'm also getting ready to build a second system with a Ryzen 5 5600G processor as the core.

Is there a website anywhere out there that graphically compares the current retail processor's performance per Watt or performance per $?

I'm usually doing it manually, but I figured somebody might already have it done so we can quickly glance at it.

I use this site as a quick reference for comparing CPUs. It's not an end all be all type comparison, but it has good info.

It wasn't difficult to guess 5950X being the king, but 12400 and 5700 are right up there, too.

Actually I take it back. It's one of Ryzen 7000 series CPUs in Eco mode. It's gotta be the 7950X.
