What's the most effective teeth whitening product out there?

My teeth are a little stained and i'd like pearly whites for once in my life... whats the best product for this?
 
I don't know about OTC, but I had really good results by using a product called Night White 2. I had to buy it directly from my dentist though.

I had Night White from my dentist - took about a week, but my teeth looked too white after the treatment. Cost about 300 bucks - but you get professional results that no over the counter brands can touch.

I touch them up once a year, and I always get compliments on my teeth.
 
Plain ole baking soda. My mom made us brush with it every so often as kids. Put a little in your hand, wet your brush, dip it in the baking soda and brush. Do that for about week or so once a day and your teeth will be whiter. Rinsing with peroxide every so often also helps.
