For whatever twisted reason both my wife and I like the movies Saw and Saw 2 and we got to talking about the most disturbing movie we ever watched. So what's yours, what totally freaked you out after watching it.

Faces of Death does'nt count

I would have to say the first SAW.

Speaking of faces of death. I've seen one of those and you can see more graphic stuff nowadays on tv shows like Maximum Exposure.
Is this because we have become desensitized?

I dunno, "disturbing" usually implies a negative reaction...

But I'll say Last House on the Left

Hannibal - It actually kinda sucked. But the brain eating was over the top.
Ichi the killer - Psychotic.
Audition - i've only read about it and i'm not sure if I can watch it. (Same director as Ichi -- Takashi Miike)

I saw that a few weeks ago and yeah, it was incredibly disturbing. At the risk of a spoiler, the scene in the camper towards the end was very hard to stomach.

When I was 14 my mom rented Old Yeller for me and my older brother. I thought it was the greatest movie ever told and especially when Old Yeller saved the boy from the hogs and chased off bad things from the family but when he got the hydrophoils and they had to... Some things should NOT be made into movies they leave an everlasting impression on our minds seeing Old Yeller die like that is what is wrong with those hollywood types today.

When I was about 8-9, I was terrified by The Fly w/ Jeff Goldblum. To this day, I won't watch it because of how bad it freaked me out. Human mutation in movies is just something I can't take. Blood and gore and mass killing is no problem.
