Don't know if it's "depressing", but I won't be ashamed to say that "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle tugs at the heartstrings pretty hard. And I'm not even a dad.

I am a big fan of the TV show ER, and many of the songs they have used would make this list. The song that was played as Dr. Green was dying always makes me sad, I believe it was sung by Israel Kama..something ...sounds kind of like a kid's song..

Finally, my number one song for this list would have to be "I Grieve" by Peter Gabriel, from the City of Angels soundtrack..
