Well, I cannot speak for myself, but I have a friend who has streak of over a hundred. Every FreeCell game is beatable, so it can be done. He is a little crazy about the game, however, as he has admitted to thinking about moves for 45 minutes before actually making one.

My best is 11. Some games are provably unbeatable, despite what the help says. For example, the way the deck is dealt if you do game # -1 (negative 1) is easy to see its unwinnable.

I honestly had 179. It was not by editing an ini file, forces quits or ctrl shift F10.
I followed it by a streak of 134.

Freecell isn't all that difficult if you think about what moves you are going to do.
Its not all about getting the Aces up.

I know someone that says he has a streak of at least 1297, I suppose it'd be possible if you think about the moves for a few minutes before doing anything.

I went from game 1 to game 8754 and won each one to see if every game was beatable. now i'm not saying i didn't lose any in that streak, i'm saying i kept trying it until i won it.

i would do select game and go in order.

out of the 1,000,000 or so combinations i found 8754 to be beatable.

I find that spider solitare gets easier the more you play it. Of course I am only palying it with 2 suits.

I've been playing that game by hand since I was 5. My grandmother taught it to me. I usually win 1 out of 2.
