I've read that the latency of unregistered memory sticks is larger than for unregistered memory. So, for the ASUS A7M266, what's the largest supported size of unregistered memory?

Same question for the soon-to-be-available ABIT KG7-RAID.

Thanks.

The A7M takes up to 2GB of either registered or unregistered DDR RAM. The ABIT takes 2GB unregistered and 4GB registered, according to Crucial.

Edited to remove evidence of my overly dense brain matter. Meant GB, not MB!!

Odd, my old 486 system had more RAM than that, it had 16 MB ;)

Anyways, yeah I think you mean GB
