What is the maximum capacity hard drive Shuttle MN31N would accept with the default BIOS? (I don't have the PC here, can't check the BIOS right now, I bought it two months ago.)

I am looking to buy a 160GB drive. Wondering whether I would have to update the BIOS or get an ATA card to get the hard drive work with this board.

Thanks for looking.

The MN31N has 48bit LBA addressing out of the box but make sure you have SP1 if using XP and if using win2000pro you need at least sp3 and this registry change Here's the resourcen for 48bit LAB if you need/want it http://www.48bitlba.com

Thanks, glad to find out that it would work on win2k as well. I like Win2k more than XP, the only thing XP does quicker than 2k is boot. May be I'd have to upgrade to XP when nothing would work on 2k :)

I haven't looked into XP much, can you please guide me what kind of tweaks can make XP go faster than 2k?
