Whats the manufacture date on your Gamecube?

Buying a used GC and am curious if this one is really that old or if its possible its only a few months old(used) just been sitting for a while? But of course no one would know for sure.

Curious if some of you could tell me when you bought yours and what the manufacture date on yours is? It should have m on the bottom with a year after it.

Beats me.....I'd have to get up and check, but mine was purchased on November 18, 2001 (Launch Day!!!!). So.....it was probably made in 2001

I had mine preordered on launch date as well, but sold it 2 months later for an XBox

my gameboy player was manufactured in 2002. i'm not taking it off.

2001 which is the year it came out. I had it preordered.

I got mine Christmas 2001, so it was made sometime in 2001. My guess is November. It's a black one, but I'm not sure that the color would make any difference.

well I was mainly looking for ppl who has bought you in the past few months or year and seeing if they have a 2001 system.

Manufacture date on a GameCube is a very unreliable way of telling how 'old' it is. Nintendo stopped producing them between Oct 03 and Mar 04 due to a full warehouse of them. Production has since resumed, but I haven't seen any machines made in 04 float through my store yet.

Supposedly the newest model is missing the component video out port, so it may not be desirable...
