What's the major difference between the SLK800, SLK900, and SLK947?

What's the major difference between the SLK800, SLK900, and SLK947?

From what I gathered, the SLK900 is just about the same as the SLK800, except it supports up to 92mm fans (whereas the SLK800 supported up to 80mm), and its base is a bit smaller so it fits comfortably on more motherboards (without having to bend capacitors and whatnot). What's the difference on the SLK947? I hear the performance difference on all 3 heatsinks are 1-3% of each other, so there's no real bonus of going for one over another, unless you wanna squeeze the absolute most out of your system.

you already know the difference. 1 - 3 %

I got the 900a just becauseI wanted top of the line, and 92mm fan options

you buy what you want though. you alread have all the details

I guess I did answer myself. Maybe I shouldve been more specific.

What does the SLK947U bring to the table that's new? I mean, it looks almost exactly like the SLK900U.

slk-800 VS slk-900 900 is bigger( more copper) slk-947 VS slk-900 947 is refined for more compatablity, the 900 didnt fit many boards... i think the 947 is the way to go( BOLT ON ONE THO) most compatable and good cooling...
