Whats the longest you've been forced to stay at home?

This is actually how I ended up at this forum.
From being bored from sitting at home for over 3 weeks now,
coz I got some weird complicated type of fracture from an ankle sprain while playing basketball.
unable to walk without pain...

What a waste of spring break!
Anyway, hope to be out by next week.

anyone else been through torture like this?

maybe 1 week, i don't recall for sure
i've never broken a bone or gotten a bad disease (except for when i had leprosy, but i didn't have to stay at home for that) ((i got better!))

Last summer, I was also forced to stay at home for ±3 weeks. I also sprained my ankle while playing basketball, but not fractured though.

The sad part was that my mom was in Spain for 4 more weeks (happened a couple of days after she left). I couldnt stand up more than 2 mins on my crutches or my foot would turn blue and hurt like ***HELL***.

Fortunately I had friends come visit me and help me cook dinner and all (because I wasn't able to stand up for long). And fortunately, I had the computer right next to me.

I was quarantined 2 weeks when I was 22 because I had the mumps. It's strange because I got the mumps as a kid but got them again. Staying home was fun though. I didn't shave, could sleep in and had a whole bunch of new video games to play.

Can't imagine life without a computer though when this happens.
How many books can u read and how many hours of TV can one watch.
But a computer with an internet connection has no limit...

i was stuck at home for teh first 18 or so years of my life. then I went to college

longes due to illness or injury was about a month. i tore out my lower back so i couldent even walk

about three days. Way longer than the duration of ads that exist on the left side of these forums!

I am never forced to stay at home. I had bronchitus, but I wore a face mask and went everywhere I normally would. Was really loud though, due to the coughing.

I broke my right foot a few years ago, and the cast they put me in was like 30 pounds and hurt my foot more than normally walking on it, so I didn't wear it. 3 months later, I was healed. (buddy of mine broke his foot 5 months ago and is still in a boot...dropped a suitcase on his foot after Thanksgiving break. LOL).

I was grounded once for 3 weeks. Left everyday secretly, only caught like 21 times. Sucks to be me sometimes.

never been forced to stay at home from things other than bad weather and such

flu maybe.. but the last time i had that was before i was on the net.
