About 7 years ago, I had a bad case of Gastroenternitis (sp?) basically, it's the ultimate stomach flu. 102+ fever, stuff coming out of both ends

P) dizziness, complete inability to eat or drink ANYTHING. I mean, so bad that I was retching so hard that I....well, lost control of the other end. As hard as I tried, I couldn't control it. As soon as I'd go to lay down to try to sleep, I'd feel it try to come out of eithe end....didn't sleep for two days.
So, yes, I did go the hospital.
They gave me IV fluids and sent me home with some Promethazine (Phenergan) to help control the nausea. After another day of being THAT sick, I popped about 3-4 of those things. I slept for somewhere b/t 22-24 hours straight. What woke me was my housemate banging on the door. He thought I'd died! The smell+no sound for a whole day straight. Anyway, that's the longest I've slept. I guess it was a combination of exhaustion and drug-induced sleep. Whatever.
That's my story. Sorry for the gory detail, but it was necessary...gotta keep it all in context, you know.
