Whats the longest period of time your computer has ran?

What does your signature mean?

"It is better to dwell in the desert then with an angry woman". Err...so I should first dwell in the desert and then dwell with an angry woman? And what is that better than? I don't get it....

Unless you meant to write "THAN with an angry woman".

about 3 weeks

Oh God, not this repost argument again. There's a convenient thread for you to crap in regarding this burning issue. 😀

About 3 weeks as well. I rarely shut my home computer down completely and only reboot if needed.

A month.. Windows 2000.

It's hard not to reboot a computer that you use everyday at least that often.

This windows 95 box that all it does is file/printer share on a business network has an uptime of 6 years 🙂

Something around 150 days was my max in linux .... Currently only at 59 days though.
I usually reboot my windows box every 15 days or so However I've had it in the high 20s before several times.

The NetWare server here at work has an uptime of 510 days.

The longest I've had my own boxes up for has been about 40 days, and power failure took them down 🙁

Confused

About a year. The only time(s) I've needed to reboot my linux box were when my lease was up and I had to move!

Those of you with win9x systems with 45 day plus uptimes, what about that documented max uptime limit? Wasn't it like 47 days or something? I hit it once on my old laptop (I'd just let it go into suspend mode), so I know it exists.
