Since I've never worked in IT, most i've done is 17.5

Edit: oh, i see you meant like labor work...not like employment work.

Probably 8 hours then.

Probably 12 hours of physical labor, 16 hours of non-physical work. School work - 40 hours straight (on a single group project... I don't remember why we waited until the last minute ).

I worked a temp service job one summer that was 12 hours days 7 days a week - sometimes only 8 or 10 hours on Sundays. Killer OT!

I remember a few days working hay for 14+ hours. Loading trucks in the morning till the dew was off the fields, bailing all day, stacking into the barns into the night.

13 hours was pretty standard for me when I did physical labor. Longest was 36 hours doing water damage restoration after a flood.

I dunno, probably 5 straight days of 16 hours of unpacking a cargo container, taking inventory, and repacking.

Back when Nimda hit our company, we worked 14hrs+ days for almost 3 weeks... Almost killed me...
Because of that, it created the group that I now work in, Virus Management/IT Security! :)

17 in a construction job, but it wasn't constant... we'd have 5-10 minute breaks waiting for concrete trucks to show up..

spent the night in emerg when I lost feeling in my shoulder... fun...

about 19 hours or so. my dads drycleaning plant flooded and we worked from 5am to midnight the day after to get everything running so we could open up the next morning. 19 hours, the first half of which was cleaning the water and mud out of the place

then i did 18 hours once trying to repair a large dryer we had. 6 am to midnight on that one as well.

Of actual true physically demanding work? Probably 12-14 hours helping labor for my father when he was putting in a foundation for his house.

Of non-physical, but still mentally demanding work, I was on the clock for 40+ straight hours after a server crash.
