What's the longest continous period of time you've spent gaming continuously?

My fiance just discovered Counter Strike via Half Life 2, and played for almost 9 hours straight on Saturday (from 10pm to 7am). Whew! I think the longest I've ever spent was 2 hours playing Marble Madness way back when.

What's the longest continous period of time you've spent gaming, and what game?

I remember when the first Halo came out. I played the entire day into the night until I beat the game. Took about 15 hours I guess. It was a while ago so I don't remember for sure, I just know I played all the way through non-stop.

Probably have done more years before, i.e. FFVII, FFX, Suikoden, Resident Evil games, etc.

When I was about 16, I was visiting a friend in Seattle. We rented the Rambo game for his original NES. Started playing about 6pm and didn't realize how long we had been playing until we saw that the sun was starting to come up. So about 12 hours. I had to make the 5 hour drive home that next day.

I've had plenty of 6 and 7 hour sessions of Quake 2, Rogue Spear, Medal of Honor, and Battlefield 1942. I'd usually start playing around 8 or 9 pm, and next thing I knew, it was 3am.

Back in 2003, I believe. After last day of school, me and a bunch of guys, I think 10-12, went to a LAN gaming place and played CS mostly for 9 hours straight. Funny thing is that i could not move my fingers after that.:D

Pretty hard to use keys if you cannot move fingers.

Depends... I mean I eat a lot so I have to get food and stuff, but I played HL2 for probably close to 7 or 8 hours in one chunk, and the other two were probably 3 or so hours each. However, back in the good old days of 1.6, we would start at about 4 or 5 in the afternoon on Saturday, and go until 2 or 3 in the morning on Sunday.

I'm also going to have to say that if I could remember, FF8 would have sucked up a lot of my time. And I still never beat the game. Two fvcking corrupted memory cards in a row on disc four... what are the odds? I may go for it again this week though, we'll see. Some day, I will beat it.
