What's the least amount you remember paying for gas?

I remember filling up my 1980 Pontiac Sunbird with $0.61/gallon gasoline from a Happy Mart gas station (something like that). I think that was 1988. Paid $5 to fill the tank! :Q

Now that's a little over two gallons...sad.

In my mind I seem to remember paying $.19 a gallon at Terrible Hearbst, one of the first Self Serve Gas Stations in the Bay Area but when I check the prices back in 1970 the lowest they go is $.28 a gallon so that's probably what I paid.

At this point, I'd be happy with sub-$1 again. 🙂

Well if you adjust the price back then for inflation of today I believe the $.28 a gallon is much more than $1.00. That said, it would be nice to pay under a buck a gallon.

48 cents/liter

this was actually either last summer or the summer before.

it was that low for about 4 weeks then went back up to it's normal 60-70 cents/liter

~$.86/gal regular.

That didn't last long, ~1989 when I got my license and started driving. Gulf War not long thereafter.

meh....82pence for 1 litre of unleaded....95ron too. 82 pence is way more than a dollar for you lot. jus think...around $1.30 for a litre, then the government takes 80% of that instantly
