what's the least amount of gas you ever bought for your car?

I had a car with a 10 gallon tank, the trip was going to take 9 gallons non-stop, and I have 8 gallons left. So, I tanked up and went non-stop.

if you think about it... every time you fill up your tank (take a maxima for example), you haul 18.8 gallons of gasoline in the tank around... which contributes to lower gas milage.

but yeah its too much trouble to buy gas every day. esp when you have an emergency and you run out of gas... not fun.

not to mention the added gas used driving to and from the gas station every day (assuming its out of the way)

but unless i was broke and could only afford a dollars worth of gas.. i'm filling up the tank.

Yeah but they were still working out the bugs back then. They had 1/2 cylinder engines and instead of horse power, they were measured in GOAT power. But we LIKED it that way!
