What's the latest on the Samsung 930B monitor?

I just bought a Samsung 930B from Best Buy, and exchanged it once already. Both have a very annoying backlight bleed issue. I can't find any recent information on this (say within the last 2 months).

Does anyone know if Samsung has admitted the problem, or if there is a fix available?

Some people have said that the bleeding fades with time. Is this true?
