I rarely watch TV and I haven't seen much on the internet so I'd appreciate anyone that knows current information posting it in this thread. What's the status of the levies? What's the status of people moving back? What's the status of the rebuild? etc.

The suburbs around New Orleans are recovering quickly. The city itself is slowly coming back to life, stores and businesses are opening daily. People are streaming back in to work on or at least salvage things from their homes. The city is crawling with outside contractors, roofers, etc.
