What's the latest news on the 3rd generation Intel SSDs?

I have been waiting for the 3rd generation SSDs from Intel, which I read about several months ago. I have not read anything about them since.

When are they going to be released and what is going on?

I need to get an SSD for my laptop soon. Are they worth waiting for?

Prices suddenly dropped on NewEgg by around 15% on 120 GB SSDs. About freakin' time! I think that's a sign that some new products are coming...

Intel's 120GB is the same price it was two weeks ago.

Their 160GB dropped $90 though.

According to Anand's latest news blurb about the new Intel SSD (HINT: not the droids you are looking for) the 25nm SSDs are delayed.

Hey, this is exactly what I have been waiting for: Intel SSDs on mini-PCIe cards.

Does anybody know if they will run on existing notebooks (ie. my Thinkad X200s), or do they have to be designed to use them?

EDIT: Okay, I just realised that they are not mini-PCIe, they are mSATA, and they are not part of the 3rd generation.
