Whats the latest "bad a**" MMO?

Hi,

I got hooked on Final Fantasy XI months ago, however lately the number of people on my server has gone down so its harder to find a party. Also the linkshell i was apart of has an increasing amount of "drama". I like MMO style games and tried EQII and WoW but didn't really like them. Is there any other game like FFXI that is good?

Not many options otherwise...have you tried City of Heroes / Villians?

EVE online? It's different from your normal fantasy MMO but I hear it's great.

Want a more hardcore experience? Try other asian (preferably Korean) MMOs: Rising Force Online and of course Lineage II.

Or you might want to try some of the new 'MMOs lite' (with no real persisten world; everything is instanced) like Guild Wars or Dungeons and Dragons Online.

Vanguard will be released sometime next year and it's supposed to be the next big thing.

Wow IS the latest "Bad Azz" MMO. If you dont like it I dont know what to tell you.
I dont care for FF 11, but it is popular. Which isnt saying much. Even the games that shut down are popular to some extent. Just not enough to keep them in business.

yeah, everything else is pretty crappy. i guess DDO is probably the newest most talked about mmo.
