What's the last thing you've been in a Courtroom for??

My last 3 were for speeding tickets.

The most recent judge was hardcore and threw two people in jail. One was a girl who had only served 2 weekends of her 2 week sentence. Another fellow lied about hiring a lawyer who didn't show up, but the judge knew that lawyer was working a murder case in another city so he threw contempt of court on the fellow. Needless to say he didn't give me any slack.

The two judges before him reduced it to failure to obey a highway sign.

Jury duty... convicted a guy for assult, possession of stolen property, and a couple other related accounts.

I'll have to admit that it was an interesting experience, but I wish we (the Jury) got to ask questions... it would make it easier... lol

We all determined that we watched to much TV... we kept waiting for all of the CSI type evidence... lol

So the Judge went easy on him and threw him in the Provincial jail huh? Tough time but at least he won't have a Felony.

yeah, more or less, Ive had quite a few friends get that, the odd one get 5-10 years, but most people I know were getting 2 years minus a day.

Served on a jury for a personal injury suit.

Trial lasted two days and deliberation was about 10 minutes of the third day.

To tell Officer Monologue he only had "half vast" experience investigating traffic accidents (struck by HIT n RUN redlight runner, I got the ticket. Judge threw it out and admonished Casselberry officer brian "Monologue". Cop said since my EMPTY brand new ANTOLOCK BRAKE compact truck didnt leave dark enuf marks I didnt try to avoid...despite witnesses, marks, and accident debris ON THE SIDEWALK as I tried to brake and avoid the IDIOT who ran)
HahA!
