I downloaded a Mandriva 2.1 gig ISO from a fast FTP server in about 30 minutes.

12.5 gb's ... Firefly season 1

Took about 2.5 hours to download all 14 episodes, while doing other stuff online.

Normally, big files I downloaded are about 4-8gb's but they can get bigger.
Seems like all the anime stuff is just big enough to not fit on 1 DVD-R. :|

Just recently got a 19gb one :p

What can I say, I like my anime :)

Edit:
And normally takes between 1 and 2 days

Same here.. I think it took a couple of weeks. I wasn't getting any good seeds though.

It's no wonder. Not many would be patient enough to even attempt to torrent something so large.

I download all my p0rn overnight so I dont really know when it finishes :p


But my connection usually averages about 700-800mb an hour.

Well, if it's technically 1 file, i don't know... 12MB or so mp3. About 1-1.5 hours to download.
