Lately, I can't really recall anything. In high school though there was a girl who died in an ATV accident, and I couldn't help but think "she was a bitch anyway." I felt bad for her family, but not really for her; she was pretty terrible.

One kid in school was an elitist prick and a bully. His dad got killed while riding his bike. Couldn't help but think that's what you get for being an asshole.

Posting for my Mom:
My Dad was at the hospital with chest pains. He coded on the table. Several shocks later, they revive him. When he's coherent:
Mom says, "Did you see a white light or anything?"
Dad, a grumpy bastard, says, "I didn't see a G.D. thing."
Mom,"Guess you're going to hell then."
Stone Cold.

:D

Empathy is an evolutionary defect.

Not if you want to live peacefully with others in a society.

Sometimes I think it would be worth it to burn the truly needy by cutting welfare to screw the slackers.

I was thinking how I would kind of want, and find it interesting if the US economy completely collapsed and defaulted on all of their debt.

I know our economy would collapse as well since they are so closely linked (other economies too of course) but from a macabre fascination I would kind of want to see it.

Anyway, I know it will not happen, I just think it would be fascinating to see. I probably watch too many movies; maybe someone can just make that scenario into a film for me. :hmm:

If/when that happens, you're going to want to fortify the hell out of your borders ... because if you think illegal immigration is bad in the USA now, it will be a LOT more intense in Canada :)

My grandpa has cancer and just broke 4 of his ribs, and he will probably be dying shortly. I love the guy, and it's very sad :( But all I can think about is the free vacation day I'll get from it.

Lately? A co-worker, having an extremely frustrating day, commented (stupidly) about "going postal" on someone. Knowing this person, and the way they blow off steam, when I heard about it, I told the person who overheard them that they should have said, "While you're there, will you pick me up some stamps??" ;)

Worst ever? On 9-11, after watching the Trade Center towers fall, the first thought that came to mind was, "Well, I guess the Empire State building is the tallest in the city again".

When that happened, I think I asked my dad what the chances were we'd get a Lifetime Movie Of the Week out of it.

Between games of a double header, I told the opposing ball team that I had stuff to get home to and lets get this show on the road. Then I swore under my breath but I think they heard me. I didn't actually have anything to get home to, I was just cranky from losing the first game.

I was washing my hands in the bathroom in a restaurant. Some older guy in there just started telling me that he was diagnosed with cancer and how he was going to beat it. I listened to all he had to say and responded "Good luck with that". At the time it seemed like the right thing to say, but now I wonder.

I also think this. But I don't think it is a jerk thought. I really believe it.

I see the kids who live in my neighborhood roam the streets and my only wish is for someone to kill the little good for nothing pieces of shit.

I think this every day as I walk around my once very nice neighborhood.

When I got home I turned on the computer, got out my lotion and 5 minutes later I felt great.

Went to my parents house over the weekend, my mom tells me my cousin just had a baby, I said I don't care and went on like it was nothing.

My mom didn't like it, but meh, how am I suppose to care about someone I've met once that I even know of in my life and from what I've heard has messed up her life with increasingly stupid decisions.

I was taking pictures at my friends wedding and I was taking pictures of the bride getting ready. I kind of looked at her and said “ dam you're a brave woman!!” she said why? .I said because he cheated on his two other wives. She was like WHAT? Turns out he never told her that he was married before. Shit hit the fan !!! It was bad but still not the shittiest thing ever lol. I just had no idea she didn't know.Never drink before the wedding :(:'(

My sister told me she said yes to her ex bf after he proposed to her. I said 'oh'. She said I have to go, call you right back. Haven't spoken to her since then, which was last Thursday.
