I'm looking to upgrade my Quantum Fireball Plus KA 9.1gig to a new drive soon. I am trying to decide between the IBM Deskstar 60GXP, which seems to have the best overall performance but lots of issues with reliability, and a Western Digital 400BB, which seems to be the next fastest (competing maybe with the newest Maxtor). Which drive would you recommend?
